Q&A
Can plastic/vinyl windows on a softtop be tinted with this product?
Hello I would do a test but I do think that the age of the Vinyl will dictate whether it will stick or not. I appreciate your patience Regards
Does this tint allow enough light in so that it is legal? My state says that 35% is the minimum.
Hello Because this does not have the same ratings as Nano tint. What I do have is a VLT rating which will not help. I would not suggest putting on the front headlights, I usually suggest the Light smoke. I appreciate your patience in this process Randell
Would it make sense to use the 5ft x 25ft roll to insulate/weatherproof a screened patio?
Hello, As for weather proof I am unsure this will be the product however it will help reflect some the the sun which will make the area cooler. I appreciate your patience, in this process Randell
Is there a length available longer than 60” inches? I need at minimum 6’ for a rear window
Hello, Thank you for contacting us. To answer your question, the width of this vinyl is 5ft. However, it is possible to ask for the length to be longer. To do so, you would need to call us at Vvivid Vinyl 1 (844) 588-4843 as it would be a custom order. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Attempting to have stealth capabilities. Is it possible with this product? (Can I read inside my vehicle at night w/o being detected?)
Hello I would suggest that you confirm wit your local laws what is the darkest you can use. But I do not think it will completely black out the light as in order for you to have visibility you will need to have some light come thought. I appreciate your interest I suggest buying a small cut and testing out for your self. Randell

Frequently Asked Questions
What size do I need for my car?
Please provide your car’s make, model, and year, and we’ll suggest the ideal roll size. You can also use our Sizing Chart for guidance.
How do I submit a warranty claim?
Use our Warranty Forms and include as much detail as possible: photos of the damage, adhesive, and backing. Our technicians will assess and contact you with a solution.
I received my order damaged. What do I do?
Please fill out our Warranty Form and select “Product Performance Issues.” Include:
Clear close-up and distant photos of the damage.
Images of the backing paper and adhesive side.
Once received, our team will review and assist quickly.
My vinyl looks slightly different from my last order. Why?
This is due to batch differences, slight variations occur between production runs.To avoid mismatches, we recommend buying enough material at once from the same batch.
Why isn’t my vinyl sticking properly after installation?
Our vinyl requires proper post-heating to fully activate the adhesive. Without post-heating, the glue may not fully bond to the surface, which can result in lifting or peeling.
Please refer to installation guides for the recommended post-heating temperature and instructions. Following these guidelines, especially around edges and curves, will ensure a strong and long-lasting bond.
What should I do if bubbles appear?
Small bubbles often disappear over time. Larger ones can be carefully pushed out with a squeegee or needle puncture.
How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Orders typically take 1 to 6 business days to be fulfilled and up to 7 business days for delivery. We’re closed on weekends, and international orders may take longer.
The color I want is sold out. When will it restock?
Most materials restock within 2–3 weeks. Check back soon or contact us for updates. You can also sign in to our newsletter to be updated.

No, vinyl wrap is not permanent. It’s designed to be removable without damaging the original surface when applied correctly.
"How to" install vinyl or PPF correctly?
Here’s a quick installation overview:
Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
Use a spray bottle with water and a few drops of baby shampoo (slip solution).
Spray both the adhesive side and the surface.
Position the film, then squeegee outward from the center to remove air bubbles.
Gently heat and stretch for curves (no more than 15%).
Post-heat to activate the adhesive. Let the surface rest 24–48 hours before washing or exposure to elements.
We also offer 1ft x 5ft sample sizes for individual colors.
Can you match a color for me?
We don’t use color codes, but we’ll gladly suggest the closest available match or provide sample options so you can compare before ordering.
Can vinyl be coated with ceramic coating?
Yes! Applying a ceramic coating over PPF or vinyl can improve gloss, make cleaning easier, and add protection against contaminants. Just make sure the film is fully cured and use a coating safe for vinyl or PPF.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t entered fulfillment, we can cancel and refund it immediately. Once shipped, cancellation isn’t possible but you can return it once received.
