Please note that this film is made with two layers. One being the holographic effect and the other being an adhesive film.  The adhesive film is a 1.5 mil repositionable adhesive and the Holographic effect finish is outsourced. It may separate during removal and both may need to be peeled off separately.

  • Area of use:  This premium automotive vinyl by VViViD Vinyl is specially engineered to make a statement! This film is meant for cut graphics, advertising. We do not recommend this material for full car wraps as this is extremely difficult to install. The Holographic pattern may not be even over large surfaces.
  • Application: Dry
  • Expected durability: N/A ( meant for advertising and marking. ) able to be used as a full wrap but not recommended for.
  • Warranty*: 2.5 years (Multilayered films with high UV exposure on horizontal surfaces tend to cause some adhesive residue during removal)  Adhesive can be removed by simply rubbing it off. Adhesive residue will not damage paint in any way. 
  • Conformability: Very high
  • Skill level needed: High

Horse Trailer Psychedelic!

Good but not for motorcycle

"Amazing wrap, alot darker than advertised, however. Do not try to use this as a first wrap. We tried to wrap a yamaha r6 in this and it was a nightmare, the color fades almost instantly with heat or stretching and God forbid you try to heat and then stretch it. You might be able to get away with a car since it's pretty flat but I wouldn't recommend more intricate shapes."

Mixed Emotions

"So im going to describe this film for anyone that wants to have an HONEST review. The good: Shine is amazing and looks fantastic. protective layer keeps the shine ( for the most part) The Bad: - Is a calendar film. - The 2 layer film is very ridged and thick. If lifted or heated the wrong way the glue layer will separate from the foil layer leaving HORRIBLE lift lines that are not fixable. This lead to a 10ft section of waist. - be very very conservative with heat. Heat will not remove wrinkles as in most chrome films, and will haze witch is unfix-able. - Does not like to stretch - Shrinkage is high for film. Car has been done for a week now and it has shrunk a good bit causing color of the car to show. Fixable by leaving more at the edge than normal cast. - VERY, i mean VERRRRRRRRRRRY easy to scratch. Shows everything. Highly recommend wet buffer and glide for squeegee and ceramic to protect finish. Another option is lamination but i feel would make worse to work with. Overall: i would use again as i understand how to work with the film now. Long term use is to bee seen again. Also this is a very tacky film. Would recommend tack reducer on center of horizontal surfaces like hoods, roofs, trunks. Lets bet honest the easy showing of scratches, and the way the film is produced are the only reasons its a 3 star and not 4 or 5."

Hello, Thank you for contacting us. To answer your question, if the company you are inquiring about has experience and services to cover your car then they should be able to work with our material. However, I would recommend ordering extra material so that they can test and work with a small piece beforehand so that they are accustomed to the material.
Can i get someone to cut racing stripes for my car out of this material? I am having my car repainted and I would love to have black holographic chrome stripes applied before adding the clearcoats. I have a grey 2011 mustang GT with hood scoop and pedestal spoiler.
Hello, Thank you for contacting us. As the moment we do not customize racing stripes. However, currently there are pre-cut racing stripes available on Amazon. If you search Vvivid racing stripes in Amazon, you will be able to see it.
Can you wrap headlights or brake lights with this?
Hello I am sorry this particular material is not transparent so no you could not. Well you could but no light will pass through. How do I submit a warranty claim?

My vinyl looks slightly different from my last order. Why?

This is due to batch differences, slight variations occur between production runs.To avoid mismatches, we recommend buying enough material at once from the same batch.

Why isn’t my vinyl sticking properly after installation?

Our vinyl requires proper post-heating to fully activate the adhesive. Without post-heating, the glue may not fully bond to the surface, which can result in lifting or peeling.

Please refer to installation guides for the recommended post-heating temperature and instructions. Following these guidelines, especially around edges and curves, will ensure a strong and long-lasting bond.

What should I do if bubbles appear?

Small bubbles often disappear over time. Larger ones can be carefully pushed out with a squeegee or needle puncture.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders typically take 1 to 6 business days to be fulfilled and up to 7 business days for delivery. We’re closed on weekends, and international orders may take longer.

Is vinyl wrap permanent?

No, vinyl wrap is not permanent. It’s designed to be removable without damaging the original surface when applied correctly.

"How to" install vinyl or PPF correctly?

Here’s a quick installation overview:

  1. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
  2. Use a spray bottle with water and a few drops of baby shampoo (slip solution).
  3. Spray both the adhesive side and the surface.
  4. Position the film, then squeegee outward from the center to remove air bubbles.
  5. Gently heat and stretch for curves (no more than 15%).
  6. Post-heat to activate the adhesive.
    Let the surface rest 24–48 hours before washing or exposure to elements.

If your order hasn’t entered fulfillment, we can cancel and refund it immediately. Once shipped, cancellation isn’t possible but you can return it once received.
