"Pictures do make the film look more yellow but to the eye it's actually more natural wood looking. The film is somewhat stiff but will relax with gentle heat but be careful, the film has a gorgeous wood pattern that can be distorted if over stretched which is very easy when the film relaxes. Additionally the finish is a beautiful satin and too much heat will gloss the finish and give a blotchy appearance if you're inexperienced. I did read that in the description but tested it anyway to see how much heat would distort the finish. If you've never worked with this kind of film before, start your heat gun on low until you're used to it. But once installed, it's eye catching. I used this to wrap my drum kit In the pic you'll see a before (dark mocha) to the maple wood knots which looks like it came from the factory The last use my snare which has different hardware but still gorgeous wood looking finish"
