Very nice application.

"I just did my front two windows on my Honda and it looks great. I didn’t get the precut and I forgot to save the old tint but it wasn’t that difficult to get a good shape to fit. It was very easily applied and the dirt doesn’t seem to get caught up under it like other tints I’ve used. I did end up getting some unexpected dust but I was able to squeegee it off and reapply. The only cons I noticed were that sometimes the creases were permanent, and the silver can scratch off if you’re too rough with it. But those both could be my inexperience."

HELP!!!

"HELP!!! How do I properly install this? I'll go over how I installed it and you can provide feedback for better technique and results, yea? I installed last night. Temp about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Did not use heat as I thought it was like chrome vinyl. Installed by myself from top to bottom. Problems: I could not get the vinyl to "work with me". It wanted to stick to the glass whenever it touched leaving what are I guess glue lines. When I tried to squeegee it, I got a lot of bubbles and wrinkles. I did not think a flat surface would be so difficult."

Q&A

can this product be used on polycarbonate plastic
Hello, I do know that the polycarbonate plastic is used in green houses and that we had customers who were successful at the installation for window tint :)
Hello! I'm wanting to have this one-way mirror on the rear windows of my car, and I have two questions. One, is it legal? Maybe a stupid question, but I've found a lot of contradicting answers online. Two, I noticed the size options seem to be for full-sized house windows, is there a way to get a custom fit for my car? If not, is it easy enough to cut them up myself? Thank you!
Hello One way is a architectural material and is really meant fro flat pane glass. To get it to curve may cause some issues. When purchasing tint for the car it is best to always use Auto rated. As for illegal you would have to contact your local authorities. I appreciate your interest is you have any further questions please let me know Randell
Does the film go on the inside or outside of the window and can it be install wet? Silver one way mirror film
Wet installation is recommended for this item. 16oz water with 4 - 6 drops of baby shampoo is a good starting point for the solution. The way one-way films work is exactly the same as a real one-way mirror, so it does not matter which side of the glass you install it on, you will be able to see through the glass standing on the "dark" side and looking out on the "bright" side (think of police interrogation rooms on tv). If both sides of the glass have equal or similar ambient light, it will not act as a mirror. That said, installing on the interior is the best choice so it's not exposed to the elements and will last longer.

It wanted to stick to the glass whenever it touched leaving what are I guess glue lines. When I tried to squeegee it, I got a lot of bubbles and wrinkles. I did not think a flat surface would be so difficult. What can I do to remedy the final outcome (it does not look professional)? Or do I have to order new material and start over? Will heat work as far as making it malleable and getting wrinkles out? Should I do a pre-stretch? Does this application need the soapy water? Any proper instructions on how to install this with professional finish would be great
For this type of product you will want to use what is called a "wet installation" method, prior to the installation assuming the window has been cleared of all contaminants, you would spray the window with a mixture of 16oz of water and around 4 to 6 drops of baby shampoo to lubricate the application. Afterwards it's simple to work out any air bubbles and or any creases.
